Welcome to the New Era – Ready to Take Off
Hey everyone, Eddy Lieberman here.
So look, I been working on this for a while now and I’m finally ready to show you what’s been cooking. The website’s been completely overhauled, redesigned, reimagined – whatever you wanna call it. Bottom line is it’s fresh, it’s clean, and it’s READY. And so am I.
2026 is right around the corner and you know what that means? It’s the Year of the Fire Horse. And man, I couldn’t have asked for better timing. The Fire Horse only comes around once every 60 years – that’s passion, energy, independence, and unstoppable momentum all rolled into one. The ancient Chinese knew what they were talking about. This year is about bold moves, taking risks, and chasing what sets your soul on fire. That’s exactly where I’m at right now with my music.

The Music Industry Right Now
Look, the music world’s been going CRAZY lately. Spotify just paid out $10 billion to the music industry in 2024 – that’s a billion more than last year. Streaming’s not slowing down, it’s accelerating. Independent artists and labels collectively generated more than $5 billion from Spotify, which means you don’t need to be signed to some massive label to make it anymore. You just need incredible songs that people can’t get out of their heads.
And that’s what I do. I create hooks that stick. Melodies that haunt you in the best way possible. The kind of music where you hear it once and suddenly you’re humming it three days later wondering where it came from.
The industry’s also seeing this massive shift where country music had a monster year, genre-blending is everywhere, and artists are breaking through from nowhere. Shaboozey topped the charts for 19 weeks with a reimagined country-rap fusion. That’s the kind of thinking we need – take what exists and flip it on its head.
The Local Scene & Manitou Springs
Right here in Colorado, we got something special brewing. The Manitou Springs Music Foundation has been doing incredible work supporting local musicians and keeping live music alive in our community. They’re coordinating shows, helping artists connect with venues, and just generally making sure the music doesn’t stop. The foundation promotes local musicians, music venues, and community music, and honestly that grassroots energy is what it’s all about.
During the pandemic when everything shut down, they created the Manitou Live Program and raised $13,000 to keep musicians working and venues open. That’s community. That’s what the Fire Horse energy is about – taking action when things get tough, supporting each other, and refusing to let the music die.
Every summer they do concerts in Soda Springs Park – free, family-friendly shows that bring people together. That’s the kind of scene I want to be part of. Local, authentic, real.
What’s Next for Me
So here’s what I’m building toward. I’m done playing small. I’m done second-guessing. The Fire Horse doesn’t hesitate, and neither am I.
I’m creating music that’s going to get stuck in your head for weeks. The kind of songs you can’t help but sing along to, the kind that make you feel something real. Whether you’re driving down the highway at midnight or sitting in your kitchen on a Sunday morning, I want my music to be the soundtrack.
The new website is just the beginning. It’s the launchpad. From here, we’re releasing new tracks, booking shows, connecting with fans directly, and building something that can’t be ignored. I been writing like crazy, recording demos, fine-tuning every single note until it’s exactly right.
2026 – the Year of the Fire Horse – that’s when we make the leap. That’s when everything changes.
The Vibe Going Forward
Here’s the thing about the Fire Horse – it’s unpredictable, it’s passionate, and it doesn’t follow the rules. That’s me. I’m not trying to fit into some cookie-cutter mold of what a musician “should” be. I’m making the music that moves me, and I’m betting that it’s gonna move you too.
The industry’s wide open right now. Artists are finding their audiences through TikTok, through Spotify playlists, through word of mouth. More than 80% of Spotify’s top-royalty generating artists weren’t even featured in its Global Daily Top 50. You don’t need to be on the radio to make it – you just need to make music that matters.
And with the Manitou Springs music community backing local artists, with streaming platforms paying out record amounts, with 2026 being this once-in-60-years cosmic alignment of pure fire energy… man, the timing couldn’t be better.
Let’s Go
So this is it. The website’s live. The music’s coming. The Fire Horse is galloping, and I’m riding it all the way.
If you’re reading this, you’re early. You’re here before the wave hits. Stick around, because 2026 is gonna be something special. I’m putting everything I got into this – every ounce of passion, every late night writing session, every risk I been too scared to take before.
Not anymore. The Fire Horse doesn’t do fear. And neither do I.
Let’s take the world on together.
- Eddy
P.S. – Check back here regularly for updates on new releases, show dates, and whatever else comes to mind. And if you’re in the Manitou Springs area, come out to one of the Music Foundation shows. Maybe you’ll catch me there.
